Lossiemouth Skatepark Initiative

The Lossie Skatepark Initiative started back in 2014, with a group of youngsters, a youth worker and a couple of local adult skateboarders. The group got together out of a shared interest in the possibility of a unique skatepark for Lossiemouth. Since then, the group has gained momentum with additional committee members and is now a constituted group.

So far, LSI have organised two ‘pop up ramp’ days, have attended local community events to promote the idea of a skatepark in Lossiemouth, and are working hard to ensure that Capital funding and permissions are achieved in order to make the skatepark a reality.

LSI community engagement is ongoing and support has been extremely positive from all ages and sectors of the community.
