The LCDT is working to make Lossiemouth a better place to live work and visit. We’d love to hear from anyone that supports these objectives and would like to get more involved. You can become a member by completing this form.
We have a number of projects, initiatives and events which you can find out about on this website and through our social media channels.
We'd like to thank Highland Reserve Forces and Cadets Association and RAF Lossiemouth for hosting LCDT Acting-chair, Paul Bowden, at their recent Station Visit event.
Paul joined other local employers at a networking dinner at the Officer's Mess, and enjoyed a tour of the base, visiting P8 and Typhoon squadrons, as well as learning about innovative STEM developments.
LCDT are proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and have been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Bronze Award.
Our Lossie Growers had festive fun at a DIY wreath workshop last night!
Everyone contributed a bag of greenery to share, some people brought decorations, and the wires, hoops and ribbon were provided thanks for funding from Moray CAN 😊
Huge thanks to Janet for sharing her floristry experience with us all. A lovely evening with good company and festive cheer!

I snapped this picture of an old couple walking arm in arm a couple of weeks ago. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy, the way he supported her down the slope and she held his arm firmly, her pillar of strength. Imagined they’d been walking the same route for decades and never tired of the view or the company ♥️

Patrick Mullins dropped a thought this week on RacingTV — comparing Lossiemouth’s latest run in Ireland to a previous horse, warning that sometimes a “bolt‑up” can take more out of a mare than we realise.
Lossiemouth looked superb over the weekend — and she’s a top mare: won the Mares’ Hurdle at the Festival 2025, absolute class. 🏆
But now the big question: Will the Irish win cost her for her next run?
