Lossiemouth Community Sports Hub
The Lossiemouth Community Sports Hub, working closely with Moray Council Active Schools Group, aims to encourage and facilitate sporting Clubs and activities for all ages and abilities.
The Sports Hub meets regularly for all participating Clubs to discuss and share the ongoing activities they have planned. The Clubs work together on creating group events such as the inaugural Seafest 5K fun run. Whilst Covid precluded any event in 2020, it is the aim of the Sports Hub to expand this for different abilities in the future.
You can find out more about Sports Hub through this website, contacting the Lossiemouth Community Development Trust or by contacting the Active Schools Group at Moray Council.
Thanks to Glenrinnes Community for hosting the regular TSI Moray Development Trust meeting. A great chance for our DO Alison to meet with peers from other communities, share updates and top tips!It was a pleasure to host Edward from Third Sector Interface Moray for the Development Officer Network at GCC this morning.
We welcomed Tyred n Cranky to chat to us all about what they can offer our communities in Moray, caught up with each others projects, and chatted about funding, our roles and how we could support each other.
A great morning despite the high winds, car & tech issues, and my personal inability to look normal in a photo!

Thank you so much for your generous donation to the growing project!
We're glad to have been able to support you in your journey and wish you every success with future events!🌱 THE RAFT RACE REVIVAL — GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY! 💙
At Elgin Round Table, we’re proud that the Raft Race Revival is about more than bringing people together for a fantastic day of fun — it’s about supporting the people and projects that make our local community such a great place to live.
As part of this commitment, race organiser Will Burtt recently met with Alison Read from Lossiemouth Community Development Trust to present a cheque for £200 towards the Lossiemouth Community Garden Project! 🌻💷
The project aims to create a welcoming community growing space where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together, grow food, enjoy the outdoors and connect with others. It’s a fantastic initiative that will help bring people together and make a positive difference in Lossiemouth. 🌿🥕🌼
We’re delighted that proceeds from the Raft Race Revival can help support projects like this, contributing to a stronger, greener and more connected local community.
A huge thank you to Alison and everyone at Lossiemouth Community Development Trust for the work they do to improve our local area, and to all our sponsors, volunteers, raft crews and supporters who helped make the Revival a success.
Your support is helping us give back — and grow something good in our community! 🙌💙
